You can now book the nine overwater suites at Sandals Grande St. Lucian resort.
The Kokomo Island above-water honeymoon bungalows are three-to-four times the size of the average Caribbean hotel suite.
Each St. Lucia overwater bungalow has a king-sized bed and a private sitting room with doors that fold away. Glass in the floors allows you to see fish swimming in the water below.
The Sandals over-the-water suites feature outdoor twin-sized soaker tubs and showers, as well as hammocks above the Caribbean Sea adjoining the sun decks. Guests have access to 24-hour room service.
Sandals LaSource Saint Lucia, a new 350-room hotel, will be located next to the overwater bungalows. Building the 19-acre resort began in Spring 2018. It will feature butler suites and swim-up rondoval suites.
Sandals Grande St. Lucian's overwater wedding chapel opened in 2016.
Rondoval suites
Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort has 10 rondoval suites, which are large, circular cottages. Two categories are available: the Ultra Luxury Beach Rondoval Suite with Private Plunge Pool & Whirlpool and the Ultra Grande Luxe Beachfront Rondoval Suite with Private Plunge Pool & Whirlpool.
The Sandals St. Lucia 1,400-square-foot rondoval suites have 50-inch plasma televisions, separate sitting areas with sofas and desks, in-room Jacuzzi tubs and separate shower areas with glass mosaic tiling. Inside décor features natural stones, soaring conical ceilings, imported mocha marble, bleached pebbles and fine mahogany.
Outside, each Sandals rondoval suite has a private pool deck, which measures 350 square feet. Couples have their own private hammock and outdoor Jacuzzi or sparkling plunge pool and waterfall.
Butler service
Guests in the Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort overwater and rondoval suites enjoy Sandals exclusive butler service.
Gordon's, one of six Sandals Grande St. Lucian restaurants, is an exclusive dining experience on the pier, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. The white-glove service restaurant serves fresh seafood and hand-selected steaks with a selection of fine Robert Mondavi wines.
