Visitors can explore the historic streets of Bern Switzerland's Old Town, on city bikes, children's bikes, flyer electric bikes, kickboards and skateboards during the summer months.
To obtain the equipment, free of charge, visit a Bern rollt stand in Bahnhofplatz and Zeughausgasse. Leave an ID and a deposit. You can then bike or board past the well-known tourist attractions and monuments in the UNESCO World Heritage Site city.
From June, visitors can also tour Bern by rubber dinghy. Aare rafting allows visitors to discover the city from the unique perspective of the River Aare. Sights include mighty sandstone bridges, flower-bedecked houses and the natural winding river landscape.
Tours are held daily on request. Tour duration is two hours, including the return to Bern Railway Station.
